As a Forklift Operator at Apex Distribution NY, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of inventory within our state-of-the-art warehouse facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and ensure all safety guards and devices are functional.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in cycle counting to ensure stock accuracy.
- Keep warehouse aisles organized and free of obstructions to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (Class 1, 3, or equivalent).
- Valid OSHA 10 or 30 Hour Safety Certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and equipment handling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
