Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Organize warehouse shelves and maintain a clean, clutter-free workspace.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of forklift equipment before use.
- Assist in inventory counting and stock management processes.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Good physical stamina; ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License (not always required but preferred).
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training for forklift operation.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and order picking.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
