Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by staging and tagging stock according to company protocols.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Perform routine safety checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification (CPL).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable forklift experience in a distribution center.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and weighing.
- Strong commitment to safety and reliability.
