As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that inventory is moved efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) to load and unload materials from trailers, railcars, and trucks.
- Inspect forklift equipment for safety issues before and after each shift.
- Stack and organize products on pallets or shelves according to company safety protocols.
- Perform daily inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety regulations strictly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a forklift (must provide certification).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Valid driver's license (sometimes required for warehouse driving).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
