Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan, count, and stock inventory items to maintain accurate warehouse records.
- Material Handling: Ensure products are properly palletized, labeled, and stored to optimize warehouse space and flow.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by promptly removing debris and organizing workstations.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (Forklift License).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions without injury.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to verify accuracy of inventory and maintain precise documentation.
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screen; must have a reliable form of transportation.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including potential overtime as business needs arise.
