Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated areas to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Prepare and organize pallets for shipping and receiving trucks.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA certified or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery or forklifts.
- Ability to read and understand shipping labels, bills of lading, and safety manuals.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license (not always required for warehouse work, but good to have).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
