Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
- Organize and stock inventory accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Handle heavy lifting and maneuvering of goods in tight spaces as required.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Physically fit to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
