Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Verify inventory accuracy by counting stock and recording data using warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient workflow.
- Perform other warehousing duties as assigned, including palletizing and shrink-wrapping.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator license (CLP) or willingness to obtain one.
- Previous experience operating forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, or Sit-down) is preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, operating procedures, and other written instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as business needs arise.
