Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and maintenance checks on equipment.
- Organize, stack, and tag merchandise according to company guidelines and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe environment for all employees.
- Accurately record inventory movements and stock levels using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Assist in the packing and shipping process to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (Forklift Certification required).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse software.
- Valid driver's license (not always required but a plus).
