Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move inventory.
- Inventory Management: Conduct daily cycle counts and stock audits to ensure accurate inventory levels and product availability.
- Loading and Unloading: Promptly load and unload freight trucks using proper safety protocols and equipment.
- Climate Control Maintenance: Monitor storage unit temperatures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and product integrity.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and work in extreme cold temperatures (as low as 10°F).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety when handling sensitive goods.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance record and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for this position.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, cold storage, or logistics environment is highly preferred but not strictly required for qualified candidates.
