Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and reach forklifts to load, unload, and move palletized materials throughout the warehouse.
- Verify inventory counts against manifests and ensure accurate placement in designated storage zones.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklift equipment to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Collaborate with warehouse leads to meet daily shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment targets.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to scan and track inventory movements accurately.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including pallet jacks and hand truck usage, as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a professional distribution center.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality record.
