Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks, etc.) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as required.
- Ensure the warehouse and work area remain clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse managers and team members regarding inventory and workflow.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) license or equivalent certification is required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent forklift operating experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and paperwork.
