Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to transport materials.
- Load and Unload Freight: Load and unload trucks with precision, ensuring cargo is secure and organized.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory checks, picking, packing, and staging orders to meet daily targets.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Work Area Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license (Class D) is required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and overtime.
- Willingness to Learn: No prior forklift experience is necessary; we provide paid training for qualified applicants.
