Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and pallet jacks, to load, unload, and move materials safely.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in proper working condition.
- Manage inventory by scanning barcodes and updating warehouse management systems (WMS) in real-time.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with the team to organize warehouse storage areas and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Assist in order fulfillment processes, picking and packing orders with precision.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (CDL not required but preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse software is a plus.
