Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (reach trucks, sit-down forklifts) and pallet jacks to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of all equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Organize inventory, stock shelves, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area in adherence to OSHA standards.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and document any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
