Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to safely load and unload freight from trucks and trailers.
- Verify inventory counts and accuracy using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Ensure the workspace remains clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform routine pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections.
- Assist with palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of work performed.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic reading and math skills for inventory verification.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
