Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, Pallet Jack) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure all machinery is in safe, working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and documenting stock movements in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to organize stock, ensure proper storage, and optimize warehouse layout.
- Assist in the packaging and preparation of shipments for outbound delivery.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Clean Record: Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
