Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Accurately document inventory movements and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the staging and storage zones.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (or be willing to obtain one through our training program).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
