Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Inspect and perform daily maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize workflow and meet deadlines
- Assist in unloading shipments and organizing stock in designated storage areas
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisor immediately
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down forklifts in warehouse environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license preferred
