Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and logging stock movements.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient warehouse flow.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
