Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down, reach, and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure proper maintenance and functionality before operation.
- Conduct daily safety checks and adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure maximum space utilization and order accuracy.
- Prepare pallets for shipping and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and throughput goals.
- Perform general warehouse duties including sweeping, mopping, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Reach Truck and Counterbalance preferred).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory and handling paperwork.
