Job Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for moving materials, products, and equipment within the warehouse efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move stock within the facility.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Organize and maintain a clean, orderly warehouse environment.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accuracy in stock records.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required by management.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (or be willing to obtain one).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and counting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) is a plus.
