As a Forklift Operator, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that inventory is managed accurately and materials are moved safely across the warehouse floor.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Perform routine pre-shift safety inspections and maintenance checks on all machinery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CFO) is required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory verification.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime.
