Responsibilities
- Inventory Retrieval: Accurately pick items from shelves using RF scanners and pick lists to fulfill customer orders.
- Packaging & Shipping: Properly pack, label, and prepare products for shipment, ensuring all safety standards are met.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and verify accuracy against packing slips to minimize errors.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and conveyor systems.
- Space Management:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic reading and math skills for scanning barcodes and verifying quantities.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is a plus but not required.
- Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented to ensure high accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
