Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and transport materials to designated storage areas or shipping docks accurately and on time.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring proper labeling and placement.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines strictly to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and workflow goals.
- Handle paperwork, such as delivery tickets and inventory logs, with precision.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down forklifts (Counterbalance) or reach trucks.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and operating heavy machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be available for overtime and weekend shifts as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
