Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products safely.
- Verify inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and stock checks using warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Inspect equipment for defects or damage and report maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment and timely shipping schedules.
- Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding forklift operation.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10 or equivalent) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality record.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
