Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to shipping docks.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Organize and stack materials to ensure inventory accuracy and efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by adhering to OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Document and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and palletizing.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and material handling best practices.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and labeling.
