Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks before every shift.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and verifying shipments.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Organize warehouse storage areas to optimize space and retrieval speed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and navigate warehouse aisles.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory management.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Documentation: Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a background check.
