Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of the forklift and work area to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning pallets and updating the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to organize stock and ensure efficient workflow.
- Assist in the packaging and shipping of goods to meet delivery deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a forklift (1+ years preferred).
- Valid forklift certification (Forklift Operator License) required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for inventory scanning systems.
