Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Drive forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and ensure proper tagging of stock.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Freight Handling: Prepare shipping and receiving orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues to maintenance immediately.
- Housekeeping: Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid, unexpired Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience and demonstrated proficiency with material handling equipment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Availability: Must be available for overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
