Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect equipment for safety issues before and after each shift and report any mechanical problems to management.
- Organize and maintain a clean, orderly work area to ensure safety compliance and efficiency.
- Verify and count stock items to ensure accuracy against inventory records.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (Must be provided at interview).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order accuracy.
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
