Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stage materials and products accurately according to shipping labels and orders.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counts, inventory checks, and maintaining accurate stock levels within the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wear required PPE, and report any potential hazards immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, organizing pallets, and ensuring aisles are clear.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and inventory logs, with 100% accuracy.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is mandatory.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff.
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
