Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, move, and store products in the warehouse efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of the forklift to ensure safety compliance and mechanical functionality.
- Sort, organize, and tag inventory items with high accuracy to maintain stock integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles and OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet daily production quotas and deadlines.
- Report any damaged goods, unsafe conditions, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Certification (CLP/CFP) or be willing to obtain one upon hiring.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
