Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to load, unload, and move materials.
- Maintain Inventory Accuracy: Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure stock levels are accurate within the designated storage zones.
- Ensure Warehouse Safety: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Packaging & Labeling: Properly package and label shipments to ensure they are ready for transport and meet customer standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to streamline workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends if needed.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening (MVR check may be required).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and precision when handling inventory.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
