Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (e.g., reach trucks, pallet jacks) to move, stack, and organize inventory.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring cargo security and proper weight distribution.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure safety and compliance.
- Conduct daily inventory counts and ensure accurate stock placement in the warehouse management system.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping processes.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
