Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move materials and products throughout the facility.
- Load and Unload: Efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, stock checks, and organize warehouse shelves to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols, including conducting daily equipment inspections.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently to meet customer deadlines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Report any mechanical issues with the forklift or warehouse equipment to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A or B) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work the Night Shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and order picking.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff.
