Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Counterbalance, Reach, Order Picker) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload freight from trucks, ensuring proper placement and cargo security.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and routine maintenance checks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist with inventory control, stock counts, and cycle counts using RF scanners.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse tasks.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Documentation: Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a background check.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and proficiency with handheld scanners.
- Availability: Must be available for overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
