Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to ensure accurate inventory movement.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, inspect goods for damage, and maintain accurate stock records.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and conveyors, following all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Packing and Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, sealing, and documentation.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe by promptly removing debris and organizing storage areas.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the logistics team to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Forklift certification is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and sorting.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
