Responsibilities
- Operate electric and internal combustion forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
- Inspect forklifts for any mechanical issues before use and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory counts and maintain clean, organized stockrooms.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Perform daily cleaning and organization of the warehouse floor.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and forklift handling procedures.
- Basic computer skills for scanning barcodes and logging data.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
