Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks as per OSHA standards.
- Move pallets and heavy inventory to designated storage areas while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the forklift, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including scanning items with RF scanners and organizing stock.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents and ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA 10 or equivalent) required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Valid Driver’s License is a plus but not required for the operator role.
