Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts to move materials within the warehouse and loading docks safely.
- Load and unload freight trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and documentation is accurate.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure functionality and safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S warehouse methodologies.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts using handheld scanners or computer systems.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity and safety targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (reach truck, sit-down, or pallet jack experience preferred).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse management software.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
