Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse facility.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance before shifts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning, logging, and reporting discrepancies.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and a safety-conscious mindset.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
