Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring accurate inventory counts and secure cargo placement.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to prioritize daily workflow and meet shipping deadlines.
- Document inventory movements and report any equipment malfunctions promptly.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator with valid OSHA certification (Class 1, 3, or 4).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehousing or logistics preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Must possess a valid driver's license (Class C or higher).
