Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in safe working condition and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts and organizing stock.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient flow of operations and timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (LF/RF) required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read labels and pick lists accurately.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
