Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using barcode scanners and computer systems.
- Ensure all safety protocols and OSHA regulations are followed at all times.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed, including packing and shipping orders.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, or High Lift) is required.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
