Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to/from shipping docks.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning pallets and verifying stock placement using RF scanners.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a zero-accident workplace.
- Stack and organize products securely on pallets and shelves to optimize warehouse space.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and shipping deadlines.
- Assist with general warehouse duties such as shrink-wrapping and labeling.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various temperatures.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and picking.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
