Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery safely and efficiently to load and unload shipments.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and document all material movements within the warehouse management system.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations strictly.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts (Reach Truck, Clamp, or Standard) in a warehouse setting.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- License: Valid Texas Driver's License.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
