Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload freight trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and organized according to shipping guidelines.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections of the forklift and reporting any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and update warehouse management systems (WMS) as required.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) license or equivalent certification is required.
- Valid forklift license from an accredited training provider.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order picking.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
