Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to load, unload, and move materials.
- Inventory Management: Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in stock counts and documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately to meet daily production targets and customer deadlines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues to maintenance immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Certification: Must hold a current, valid OSHA forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to read labels, follow instructions, and maintain organized records.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required for warehouse driving tasks.
