Responsibilities
- Operate electric and internal combustion forklifts to move, locate, and stack merchandise within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and securely using various handling equipment.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S standards.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and stock organization as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy (RF Scanner experience is a plus).
- Attitude: Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
